Taylor Wenczkowski is a current Professional Women’s Ice Hockey Player for the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation. She is also the Founder and Owner of TW Hockey Academy, her own ice hockey training business. Taylor is in her third professional season after winning back-to-back Isobel Cups in her first two seasons. Taylor scored the game winning goal both years and was named as the 2022 Playoff MVP.

 

Taylor, a former NH Knight, was a member of the USA U18 Team in 2013 and 2014. She was recruited to play for her childhood dream school, the University of New Hampshire, from 2015-2020. Taking a medical redshirt due to injury her sophomore season, she was able to graduate early in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Kinesiology. She finished her Senior season while completing her Master's Degree in Kinesiology under a Sport Psychology route. A Hockey East “Distinguished Scholar”, Taylor made the Hockey East All-Academic Team in each of her Varsity Seasons. In 2019-, she was named to a Hockey East All-Star Team and 2020, she was named captian and earned the honor of UNH Team Most Valuable Player. That summer, she attended the 2019 USA Hockey’s Women’s National Team Festival.

 

Taylor aspires to be a positive and influential role model to adolescent student-athletes as she has a passion to help the next generation become the best athletes and people they can be. While at UNH, she was a Co-Head Coach of the New England Wildcats U16 Girls Ice Hockey Team in 2019. She was an on-ice skills coach for the New England Wildcats, as well as for the Seacoast Spartans from 2015-2020. In 2017-2020 she ran lessons for Premier Hockey on Synthetic Ice, Skating Treadmill, and Strength and Conditioning. Taylor now runs camps, clinics, and private lessons in the Greater Boston Area.
